Building a PCC that Works for Everyone
Ryan Liu is a Pasadena City College (PCC) graduate, attorney, and nationally recognized advocate for accessible higher education. He's dedicated his life’s work to guaranteeing that others can access the same opportunities that he had to become the first in his family to go to college. Higher education is facing unprecedented challenges, from declining enrollment to rapidly increasing costs for students. PCC needs leadership that understands the challenges and opportunities of the new economy.
Ryan’s extensive work and expertise in higher education – coupled with his real-world experience mentoring generations of PCC students – has prepared him to serve as an effective leader to represent Area 6 (El Monte, Rosemead, San Gabriel, Arcadia, and Temple City) on the PCC Board of Trustees.
